Product Description
What are conical springs?
Conical springs, also known as tapered or cone springs, are compression springs with coil diameters that gradually change along their height. Their tapered geometry provides compact solid height, stable positioning, and a progressive load response for space-limited assemblies.
Working Principle
How this spring type works.
Under axial compression, the larger-diameter coils begin to deflect before the smaller coils. With suitable pitch and diameter design, the coils can nest partly or fully inside one another, reducing solid height while producing a controlled progressive spring rate.
